Human-rights lawyer and former defense lawyer for Wang Yu. His law license was revoked in 2018. In July 2026, contemporaneous reporting said court bailiffs forcibly took him from a courthouse; follow-up reporting said he was released about two hours later. That later release supersedes any earlier description of him as missing.
