Born in 1964, Lu Jingguo (陆景国) was a teacher at a middle school in Xintian County, Hunan. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for “counterrevolutionary propaganda and inflammatory delusion” (HRIC’s rendering) / “counter-revolutionary propaganda and incitement” (CHRD’s rendering).
Sentencing-court attribution: the best available reconciliation is the Yongzhou Municipal Intermediate People’s Court, graded PROBABLE. HRIC names the Yongzhou municipal court, and the 2013 compendium independently corroborates Yongzhou; CHRD’s “Xingtian County Court” appears to garble Xintian (新田), the county connected to the offense. The “Xingtian” → Xintian normalization is therefore treated as a near-certain place-name correction, not as proof of a separate county court.
Quoted from HRIC: “Born in 1964, a teacher from a middle school in Xintian County… Been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment under the crime of ‘counterrevolutionary propaganda and inflammatory delusion’ by Yongzhou Municipal Intermediate People’s Court.” Quoted from CHRD: “Lu Jingguo (陆景国): born in 1964, teacher at a high school in Xingtian, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on the charge of ‘counter-revolutionary propaganda and incitement’ by Xingtian County Court.”
Evidence status
The documentary record presently supports Lu Jingguo’s identity, occupation and 10-year sentence. The sentencing-court reconciliation above remains PROBABLE pending the original judgment. The 2013 compendium reports that Lu was released in 1994; that release is PROBABLE, single-secondary-source reporting. The original court judgment (no case number located) and an official prison-release record have not yet been found; no release chronology is documented, and anything not documented is marked RESEARCH PENDING.
Current status: unknown (no release record located).
