Over 30 years old in 1989, Min Heshun (闵和顺) was a teacher at Yueyang Teaching College (岳阳师专). He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for “counter-revolutionary propaganda and incitement.”
Sourcing note: he is documented by CHRD (2009) and a 2013 Chinese-language compendium that incorporates the 1994 HRIC/HRW-Asia Hunan prisoner roster, but was not located in the English HRIC report text, so HRIC corroboration is not claimed here. Quoted from CHRD: “Min Heshun (闵和顺): over 30 years old in 1989, teacher at Yueyang Teaching College, was sentenced to 3 years in prison on the charge of ‘counter-revolutionary propaganda and incitement’.”
Evidence status
The documentary record presently supports Min Heshun’s identity, employment and sentence as stated above. The original court judgment (no case number located) and the prison-release record have not yet been found. No release chronology is documented; anything not documented is marked RESEARCH PENDING.
Current status: unknown (no release record located).
