Historical recovery status: Verbatim Archive Recovery source located; document is explicitly a proposal/draft.
A surviving FreeChina.net file titled proposed manifesto of Free China Movement preserves a lengthy draft statement describing the movement’s political philosophy, organizational model, understanding of Chinese political history, international role, pluralism and intended operating system.
Because the historical file itself labels the text a proposed manifesto, this archive does not present every sentence as an adopted or final organizational position. It is preserved as a drafting-stage primary source.
Major themes in the recovered draft
- Human rights, freedom, democracy, rule of law and pluralism
- Opposition to one-party authoritarian rule
- An open network for organizations and individuals with differing democratic traditions
- Coordination between domestic and overseas democracy advocates
- International support and political advocacy
