Historical recovery status: Verbatim Archive Recovery source located; legacy Chinese encoding partially garbled in the preserved page.

A surviving FreeChina.net file titled tongdian June 5 contains a message from the Free China Movement Unity Conference addressed to political dissidents working inside mainland China. The preserved page identifies the conference, gives FreeChina.net contact information and dates the message to June 7, 1998 in Washington, D.C.

The original Chinese text survives in legacy encoding and is partially garbled in modern rendering.
