Legacy source: surviving hkanews.wordpress.com record
Recovery status: source located and catalogued; archival abstract preserved.
Archival abstract
Recovered Hong Kong Alliance record on democracy activist and house-church elder Hu Shigen. The page documents his 2016 conviction and sentence, health concerns, prison conditions and earlier political imprisonment. FreeChina.live preserves this as an attributed historical record rather than treating all assertions as independently established.
Legacy placement
Old-site branch: 良心犯 / Prisoners of Conscience. The source also used legal-status and case-context categories that are reproduced separately in the legacy structure replica.
Preservation standard
This recovery page preserves title/date/source relationships and a concise abstract rather than silently rewriting the historical record as current fact. Canonical FreeChina.live profiles should carry current status and independent verification.
