This section collects reference entries for the datasets, surveys, and indices most cited in this site’s research: household and social surveys, environmental and health indices, global freedom and governance ratings, and labor-event archives. Each entry describes what the dataset measures, how it was collected, where to access it, and — just as important — what it cannot tell you, so readers can use these sources with proper methodological discipline.
