Claudia Mo Man-ching (毛孟靜) is a former Hong Kong journalist, Legislative Council member and former Hong Kong 47 political prisoner.

Background and case

Mo served in the Legislative Council from 2012 to 2020 and previously worked as a journalist. She was arrested for participating in the July 2020 unofficial democratic primary and was sentenced to 4 years 2 months for conspiracy to commit subversion.

Current status

Current verified state: released / former political prisoner. Reuters, AP and South China Morning Post reported her release on April 29, 2025 after completion of her sentence.
