Leung Kwok-hung (梁國雄), widely known as “Long Hair,” is a Hong Kong democracy activist, founding member of the League of Social Democrats and former Legislative Council member who is currently imprisoned.

Background

Leung served in Hong Kong’s Legislative Council and has a long history of public protest and opposition activism. He was disqualified from the legislature in the oath-taking controversy and later became one of the Hong Kong 47 defendants.
