Hendrick Lui Chi-hang (呂智恆) is a Hong Kong democracy activist and founder of Christians to the World.
Arrest and charge
Lui was arrested on January 6, 2021 for participating in the July 2020 unofficial democratic primary and was later charged with conspiracy to commit subversion under the National Security Law.
Sentence
On November 19, 2024, he was sentenced to 4 years 3 months in the Hong Kong 47 case.
Current status
Hong Kong Watch’s latest prisoner profile still lists Lui as in jail. A fresher release report was not found in this status-reconciliation pass, so Free China does not infer a release date from sentence arithmetic.
