Jiang Fuzhen / 姜福祯

Jiang Fuzhen (姜福祯) is a Qingdao democracy activist and former political prisoner who later participated in the 1998 Shandong China Democracy Party registration effort and continued rights advocacy in exile.

Radio Free Asia reported in 2024 that Jiang took part in the 1989 Qingdao democracy movement, received an eight-year sentence for counterrevolutionary propaganda and incitement, and was released in late 1994. Later RFA and Voice of America reporting places him in the Netherlands and documents continuing public advocacy. His own historical account also records participation in the 1998 Shandong party-registration effort.
