Ma Shaohua (马少华) is a Chinese democracy activist who participated in the 1989 student movement and later in the 1998 Beijing China Democracy Party registration effort.
Contemporaneous reporting and Human Rights Watch identify him as a participant in the Beijing China Democracy Party Preparatory Committee and document police interrogation during the September 1998 registration drive. Human Rights Watch also reports an earlier sixteen-month detention after June Fourth; original legal and prison records remain incomplete.
