权利运动 / Human Rights Campaign in China

权利运动 / Human Rights Campaign in China is a grassroots human-rights information and advocacy platform founded in 2008. Its work has documented rights defenders, petitioners, detention cases, forced eviction and land disputes, freedom of expression and association, religious freedom, and other civil-rights cases in mainland China.

Role and history

The organization describes a volunteer network that enabled grassroots activists and affected families to report cases directly. Its historical archive is especially valuable for identifying lesser-known local rights defenders who may not appear in international prisoner lists.
