Canonical ID: DISS-NAN-MING
Also known as: Tang Guangzhong / 汤光中.
Profile
Nan Ming (南明), identified in participant testimony as Tang Guangzhong (汤光中), was an early participant in the overseas China Spring network. Wang Min’s first-person recollection identifies Tang Guangzhong (Nan Ming) as a colleague who joined Wang Bingzhang and Wang Min on university lecture tours in the United States in 1983. The same testimony places him in the August 7, 1984 delegation that entered the PRC embassy to deliver registration and amnesty documents.
The later CAD Ten-Year History separately lists Nan Ming in the first-congress standing committee. The alias and 1983–1984 activity are directly attested by Wang Min; the exact first-congress title remains dependent on recovery and verification of the original election record.
Evidence and controls
The source baseline combines Wang Min’s first-person recollection, the CAD Ten-Year History and identified original China Spring acquisition targets. No political-custody history has been identified in this overseas activity lane.
Primary-source gaps: original 1983 lecture and masthead records; first-congress election page; August 7, 1984 embassy documents and issue 18 report; identity record independently linking 汤光中 and 南明.
FCM research note: formal organizational titles remain source-bounded pending primary-document verification.
