Profile
Liu Wanzhen (刘万祯), identified in participant testimony as Peng Changzheng (彭长征), belonged to the early overseas China Spring network. Wang Min’s first-person recollection places Liu/Peng among lecture and seminar contacts who joined the network after the 1983 campus outreach. The CAD Ten-Year History separately preserves Liu in the pre-congress liaison network and later lists him among the first-congress standing committee.
Evidence and controls
The alias and early-network participation are materially supported by participant testimony and organizational history. The original China Spring issue 10 scan has been located, but the controlling election page has not yet been page-verified; the formal first-congress title therefore remains source-bounded.
