Minghui reports that Cai, then 66, and her daughter Yu Jiaoru were detained on July 15, 2020 during a police sweep in Nong’an County. It reports that Cai was tried at the Dehui City Court on April 9, 2021 with other defendants and sentenced on July 26, 2021 to nine years in prison.
