A surviving FreeChina.net page titled “dissident introduction list” preserves a numbered roster of 43 named dissidents, democracy activists, former political prisoners, labor organizers, scholars, lawyers, and movement supporters, followed by “more to come.”
The roster includes, among others, Wang Xizhe, Xu Shuiliang, Li Jingjing, Yi Danxuan, Zhang Xianliang, Gao Han, Ye Ning, Lian Shengde, Xing Zhen, Li Hongkuan, Ni Yuxian, Wang Bingzhang, Xiong Yan, Zhou Yongjun, Zhao Pinglu, Xiang Xiaojie, Li Shixiong, Fu Shenqi, Pan Guoping, Wang Ruowang, Chen Yizhi, Ren Wanding, and Qin Yongmin.
The original page also displayed historical telephone numbers. Those numbers are not reproduced on this public recovery page because they are unnecessary for historical identification and may correspond to living individuals or reassigned numbers.
The descriptions on the archived page reflect the wording, affiliations and claims used by FreeChina.net in 1998; they should be treated as historical source material and independently checked when used for present-day biographical claims.
