This index tracks recovered Free China Movement / FreeChina.net records from 2002. It distinguishes direct or mirrored FCM material from independent contemporary reporting and institutional references.
Recovered and cross-linked records
- May 2, 2002 — Associated Press report on an alleged pre-Olympic crackdown document released by the Free China Movement — AP stated that it could not independently verify the document; that limitation is preserved.
- August 29, 2002 — Free China Movement National Press Club press conference referenced by the U.S. State Department (Verified Institutional Record; original FCM announcement pending)
- December 24, 2002 — Free China Movement confirms Xu Wenli’s arrival in New York (Verified Contemporary Reporting; original FCM statement pending)
Recovery rule
Original FreeChina.net pages are preferred. When the original page is missing, contemporary mirrors, independent reporting, and institutional records are preserved with an explicit recovery classification rather than reconstructed as verbatim originals.
