He Hui / 何惠

He Hui / 何惠

Canonical People Profile — source-bounded historical record.

He Hui (何惠) is documented in the P1 research corpus as an early participant in the overseas Chinese democracy movement and later as a leader of the Chinese Democracy Education Foundation (CDEF).

Documented roles

Participant recollection reports that He Hui traveled with Sun Suzhi and Feng Bin to Hong Kong in January 1983 to help establish a China Spring liaison point. That early liaison role remains based on participant recollection pending recovery of contemporary records.

His later CDEF leadership has independent support: Radio Free Asia documented He Hui in 2014 as a CDEF board member and former president. The P1 corpus therefore treats the former-president and board identity as independently corroborated while preserving the evidentiary distinction for the 1983 activity.

Evidence status

Priority enrichment targets include 1983 Hong Kong liaison records and CDEF governance/minutes establishing exact tenure. No political-custody history is established in the current source baseline.
