Media Profile & Archive.
This archive supports the canonical Zhou Jianhe / 周建和 profile and preserves the source layers separately.
Verified source baseline: Human Rights Watch documents the September 1998 Shanghai China Democracy Party registration effort and Zhou’s earlier Democracy Wall background. A Taiwan Mainland Affairs Council chronology records an approximately three-hour police detention on September 17, 1998. Radio Free Asia interviewed Zhou in Washington in June 2000 as a Shanghai CDP member. Beijing Spring provides an additional movement-history layer, including a reported 1999 U.S. arrival, which remains source-attributed pending immigration records.
Enrichment targets: original Shanghai CDP registration papers; police detention record; 1978–79 Democracy Wall publication originals; immigration/asylum records; contemporaneous photographs, audio and video.
