Historical advocacy archive — January 1998.
This record describes a six-page archival transmission concerning Li Qingxi and independent labor-union rights in China. The reconstructed transmission sequence includes a fax cover, a January 29 Free China Forum cover letter, a two-page appeal, a signature/summary attachment titled “Major points of Li Qingxi’s Appeal,” and a source page attributed in the archive to the Chinese Information Center.
The packet is preserved as contemporaneous advocacy evidence. Claims about detention or official conduct are presented as claims made in the advocacy materials unless independently corroborated by stronger records.
The archival packet contains transmission and signatory details that require privacy and version review. A public scan derivative will be attached only after unnecessary contact, routing and other restricted information has been removed. The archival originals and version states remain preserved in the research collection.
