Ben Chung Kam-lun (鍾錦麟) is a founding member of the Neo Democrats, former Sai Kung District Council chairman and former vice-convenor of Power for Democracy.
Arrest and charge
Chung was arrested on January 6, 2021 for participation in the July 2020 unofficial democratic primary and was formally charged on February 28, 2021 with conspiracy to commit subversion.
Sentence
On November 19, 2024, Chung was sentenced to 6 years 1 month.
