Archival abstract
Recovered Hong Kong Alliance prisoner-of-conscience record concerning retired teacher Hua Xiuzhen and her daughter Tan Hua. The surviving post records Hua’s petitioning history, a 2018 conviction for “picking quarrels and provoking trouble,” reported retirement-benefit disputes, a 2021 detention and release, and the family’s account of medical and surveillance pressures. This is preserved as an Alliance archival record; underlying factual claims should be independently verified in the canonical person profile.
