Ding Chu (丁楚), also linked in controlled sources to the names Fang Zhiyuan (房志远) and Fang Xiyuan (房西苑), was active in the overseas Chinese democracy movement and in China Spring editorial and writing work.
Original China Spring issue material directly identifies 丁楚 as an editor and separately prints 房志远. Later movement-source material explicitly links 丁楚, 房志远 and 房西苑. Because some retrospective sources contain contested allegations, those claims are not treated here as established facts.

The strongest current evidence supports Ding Chu’s China Spring editorial role and publication activity. Exact titles and tenure in the Chinese Alliance for Democracy remain source-bounded pending recovery of original congress, appointment, and governance records.
