Nathan Lau Chak-fung (劉澤鋒) is a Hong Kong democracy activist and former Hong Kong 47 political prisoner.
Arrest and charge
Lau was arrested on January 6, 2021 for participation in the July 2020 unofficial democratic primary and later charged with conspiracy to commit subversion.
Sentence
On November 19, 2024, he was sentenced to 4 years 5 months.
Release
Lau was released on July 28, 2025 after completing his sentence. He is classified here as former political prisoner / released.
