Ng Kin-wai (伍健偉) is a Hong Kong social activist and former district councillor associated with Tin Shui Wai Connection.
Arrest and charge
Ng was arrested on January 6, 2021 for participating in the July 2020 unofficial democratic primary and later charged with conspiracy to commit subversion.
Sentence
On November 19, 2024, Ng was sentenced to 5 years 7 months. Hong Kong Watch separately records a fine in a prohibited-gathering case; that episode is kept distinct.
Current status
