Wu Muren (吴牟人) was an overseas Chinese democracy-movement participant, scholar, and editor associated with documentation of the 1989 democracy movement.
A contemporaneous 1989 PRC Ministry of Public Security notice identified Wu as a U.S.-based student, a member of the Chinese Alliance for Democracy, and chief editor of 89 China Democracy Movement Documentary Record (《89中国民运记实》). Later archival and participant sources independently preserve the book’s editorial attribution and documentary significance. Political characterizations in state sources are treated as attributed claims rather than adopted as Free China Movement conclusions.
