Purpose
Support Free China Movement media research, contact intelligence and source-based outreach preparation for news, human-rights and democracy-related public communications.
Core responsibilities
- Research journalists, outlets, desks and relevant press contacts.
- Verify public email, phone, fax and language information before entry into controlled contact records.
- Track source quality, outlet relevance and contact provenance.
- Support media-monitoring and press-outreach preparation without independently distributing unapproved material.
- Help maintain geographic and language groupings for U.S., European and other international media.
Qualifications
- Research, journalism, communications, public affairs or database experience helpful.
- Strong verification and source-recording habits.
- English required; European languages or Chinese are useful.
- Ability to separate publication, outreach preparation and actual distribution authorization.
Time and reporting
Flexible project-based commitment. Works with Communications / Press and related research teams.
Privacy and ethics
Use public professional contact information or authorized records only. Do not publish private applicant/member data or perform distribution without separate authorization.
