This page presents the evidence-controlled historical research that underlies discussion of democratic-transition lessons, constitutional continuity, Third Republic scenarios, and comparative transition research. It is a research foundation, not a manifesto, and it does not convert historical findings automatically into policy conclusions.

Research coverage by date
- 1912–present: Republican constitutional-development chronology.
- 1946–1947: constitutional evidence chain. Remaining 1946 closure items stay explicitly unresolved where original-page or transmission-chain proof is still pending.
- 1990–2000: later Republic of China democratization and constitutional-transition evidence, including first peaceful transfer-of-power research where verified.
- 1990: Poland security-sector transition and personnel-vetting evidence, clearly labeled as comparative research rather than Republic of China history.
- 2025–2026: Taiwan transitional-justice implementation evidence used as a contemporary institutional comparison.
These dates identify the current research coverage; they do not mean every sub-issue in each period is closed. Unresolved evidence remains labeled as unresolved.
Evidence and methodology
The project distinguishes verified primary evidence, secondary-source findings, disputed interpretations, participant recollections, comparative findings, and project recommendations. Historical claims are presented only at the confidence level supported by the evidence record. Participant recollections remain attributed and separate from independently corroborated facts.

Version and synchronization rule
Each publication cycle must identify the exact source-document versions used. A new Drive version does not silently replace the public record. Substantive additions, corrections, reclassifications and unresolved items are carried into the next controlled web synchronization.
Editorial principle
Historical research is the foundation for future-action discussion, not proof of any predetermined political conclusion. Comparative material is identified by jurisdiction and analytical relevance, and unresolved questions remain visibly unresolved.
