Ren Chunlian (任春莲) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Shouguang City, Shandong Province. Public reporting in 2025–2026 documents her detention and prosecution for activities connected to her religious practice.

Case history
Minghui reported that Ren was arrested on April 22, 2025 by officers from Jitai Police Station and held at Weifang City Detention Center. The same source reported significant health problems while she was detained and unsuccessful requests by her family and lawyer for medical release.
On February 2, 2026, the Shouguang City Court sentenced Ren to three years and six months in prison and imposed a 20,000-yuan fine. Minghui reported that she appealed. A later June 2026 report said the appeal was unsuccessful and that she was transferred on May 10, 2026 to Shandong Province Women’s Prison. Rights Defense Network reporting reproduced by other outlets gives a reported sentence end date of October 21, 2028.
Earlier detention
Minghui also reported an earlier November 2022 arrest after police alleged that Ren had posted Falun Gong materials. She was reportedly released after two days under residential surveillance. In August 2023 she was again taken for a medical examination; according to the source, a detention center declined admission because of her health and she was released on bail pending trial.
