Yan Jingqiu (鄢景秋) is a Qingdao resident reported by Minghui.org and related Falun Gong-affiliated monitoring sources to be a practitioner of Falun Gong.
Minghui reports that Yan was arrested on March 14, 2026 by police in Qingdao’s Shinan District. It says she was later held in a Qingdao detention center and that the Shinan District Court held a hearing on July 29, 2026.
On August 6, 2026, according to Minghui, Yan’s family learned that she had been sentenced to four and a half years in prison and that she had appealed. The published reports reviewed for this profile do not establish a criminal-code charge or her post-sentencing place of confinement.
Minghui also reports earlier arrests and forced-labor detention beginning in 2000, as well as a four-year sentence imposed by the Shinan District Court in January 2018. Those historical details remain source-attributed; FreeChina.live has not independently verified them.
