## Evidentiary limitations
All substantive reports come from Minghui.org, a Falun Gong practitioner-run reporting network. No independent (non-practitioner) source for Duan’s case was found; official court documents are not public. The 2004–2005 Suining incidents are recorded under the same name but in a different city and era, and are not asserted to be the same person. The appeal outcome has not been documented.
