# Feng Yunjuan (冯云娟)
Feng Yunjuan (冯云娟), born in August 1977, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. She is serving a four-year prison term reported in February 2026, held at the Heilongjiang Provincial Women’s Prison, with a release date of April 15, 2029.
## Background
Feng worked as a farmer and lived with her family in Huyun Xincun, Longfeng District, Daqing. According to reporting by Minghui, a Falun Gong-affiliated news outlet, she took up the practice of Falun Gong after undergoing surgery for uterine cancer; the outlet also reports that her young daughter recovered from a serious childhood illness after the family began practicing. These biographical details come from practitioner-affiliated reporting and have not been independently verified.
## 2022 detention
On the morning of July 12, 2022, officers from the domestic security (国保) unit of the Lindian County Public Security Bureau took Feng from her home in Longfeng District and transferred her to the Daqing City detention center in the early hours of July 13. Minghui reported that about ten officers searched the home and seized Falun Gong books and related items, and that her middle-school-aged daughter was left at home. A prisoners-of-conscience database (tenchu.org) records that she was detained and given an 11-month sentence in 2022 in connection with her Falun Gong practice. The charge and court behind that 11-month sentence are not documented in the sources located.
## 2025 arrest and 2026 sentence
On April 16, 2025, plainclothes police followed members of Feng’s family and arrested her at home; she was placed under criminal detention. In February 2026 it was learned that she had been sentenced to four years in prison. The charge is recorded as unknown. She is held at the Heilongjiang Provincial Women’s Prison, with her term set to end on April 15, 2029.
