Geng Lijuan / 耿丽娟

Geng Lijuan (耿丽娟) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Fuxin City, Liaoning Province. Minghui reports that she was sentenced to three years in prison on March 12, 2025. The Chinese characters shown here are the standard rendering used in the package but were not independently confirmed from a Chinese-language case source.

2024 arrest and 2025 trial

According to Minghui, Geng was arrested on October 28, 2024 after being reported for speaking with people about Falun Gong. Officers from Dongliang Town Police Station in Fumeng County placed her under criminal detention and transferred her to Chengnan Detention Center in Fuxin City. Minghui reported that a physical examination found a heart condition and that the detention center initially declined admission.

Minghui reported that the Fumeng County Procuratorate approved formal arrest around December 2024 and that prosecutor Lian Chao later brought the case. Geng stood trial at Fumeng County Court on March 12, 2025. Her lawyer and a family defender entered not-guilty pleas, and the court imposed a three-year sentence. Minghui reported that she appealed; no appeal outcome is established here.

Earlier detentions

Minghui also reports earlier arrests and detention in 2001, 2002, 2014 and 2018, including periods at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and a one-year prison sentence imposed in 2018. Allegations of sleep deprivation and other abuse remain source-attributed.

Status and evidence limits

Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists Geng among reported current-custody cases, consistent with the reported three-year sentence. No current detention facility or computed release date is presented as fact. Detailed case information comes from Minghui reporting; no public court judgment was located.
