Gu Fubao (顾福宝) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. Monitoring sources report that he was detained in July 2025, tried later that year, and was still serving a prison term in August 2026.
Detention
According to Minghui, Gu was arrested on July 15, 2025 for distributing Falun Gong materials. The report states that he was initially held at the Nangang District Detention Center in Harbin and transferred to the Daoli District Police Department Detention Center on September 12, 2025.
Trial
Minghui reported that Gu was tried by the Daoli District Court around December 5, 2025. It reported that a court-appointed lawyer entered a guilty plea on his behalf and that Gu was awaiting the verdict at the Daoli District Detention Center.
