Jiao Chuanfu (焦传富) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Yushu City, Jilin Province. Minghui reports that he was arrested in February 2023 and later admitted to Gongzhuling Prison to serve a ten-year term.
2023 arrest and sentence
Minghui reports that Jiao was arrested on February 19, 2023 by officers connected to the Erdao District domestic-security authorities, together with several other practitioners. A May 2024 report stated that he had been admitted to Gongzhuling Prison in mid-May to serve a ten-year sentence.
The indictment, formal charge, trial date, sentencing date, sentencing court and any fine were not established in the sources reviewed.
Earlier reported detention history
Minghui reports repeated detention beginning in 1999, including a forced-labor term and later confinement in facilities the outlet describes as brainwashing centers. It also alleges beatings and other mistreatment during several of those episodes. These accounts remain source-attributed and have not been independently verified.
Status and evidence limits
Bitter Winter separately reported the ten-year sentence in its review of Falun Gong sentencing in the first half of 2024. Rights Defense Network Issue 131 lists 焦传富 among reported current prisoners in its ten-year-sentence group as of August 31, 2026. No release date or current health status is inferred.
