Li Yeliang (李业亮) is listed in the Rights Defense Network / 维权网 Issue 131 monthly report dated August 31, 2026 among people sentenced to three years and reported in custody.
Independent reporting by Minghui identifies Li Yeliang as a Beijing Falun Gong practitioner, about 55 years old in 2025. According to a July 2025 report, his family received notice that he had been admitted to Beijing Second Prison to serve a three-year prison term. The report says he disappeared on September 29, 2024 after a police call the previous day and describes the precipitating incident as his giving a residential-complex security guard a flash drive containing information about Falun Gong.
The same source describes earlier incarceration: one year of forced labor beginning in 1999, a seven-year prison term imposed in 2002, and another prison sentence imposed in 2017. A contemporaneous 2017 Minghui report says that sentence was three years, while the later 2025 retrospective describes it as four years. This discrepancy is unresolved and does not affect the current three-year term.
The Chinese characters 李业亮 are identified through positional correspondence between the Chinese and English editions of the Rights Defense Network report. No separate biographical source located in the prepared evidence packet independently prints the English and Chinese names together.
The exact sentencing date, sentencing court, charge wording, sentence-end date, and present condition in the current case were not located. Minghui is a Falun Gong-affiliated outlet, and its case details remain source-attributed.
