Li Yujuan (李玉娟) is the mother of Falun Gong practitioner Hui Xiaoli. In January 2026 she was reported sentenced to two years in prison in Yishui County, Shandong Province, in a four-person case involving two family pairs.
Falun Gong-affiliated outlets Minghui and Faluninfo report that Li was arrested on April 1, 2025 together with her daughter Hui Xiaoli, Li Yifang, and Ma Huaizhen by officers of the Yishui County Domestic Security Division. Three of the women were reported held at Linyi City Detention Center, while Li Yifang was held at Yishui County Detention Center.
Minghui reported that the four were scheduled to be tried on September 9, 2025. Faluninfo later reported that on January 6, 2026 Li Yujuan and Hui Xiaoli were each sentenced to two years and fined 20,000 yuan; Ma Huaizhen received five years and Li Yifang one year.
The Rights Defense Network’s August 31, 2026 Issue 131 lists Li Yujuan among reported current-custody cases in the two-year-sentence group. The sources reviewed do not identify the criminal charge, sentencing court, post-sentencing facility, or a release date.
The Chinese form 李玉娟 is resolved positionally from the Chinese and English editions of Issue 131; no independent biographical source reviewed prints the characters together with this Yishui case, so that limitation is retained.
