September 2018 — arrest
Two Minghui reports describe a September 2, 2018 arrest for distributing Falun Gong materials on Chaoyang Road, a home search, and detention at the Nanming District Detention Center. One report names Xingguanlu Police Station and the other Chaoyanglu Police Station. Both use “Mr.”; later Minghui reports and USCIRF identify Li as female, so the early pronoun is treated as an unresolved translation/reporting error rather than evidence of a separate person.

December 2019 — sentence
USCIRF records a three-year sentence in December 2019, an appeal rejected by the Guiyang City Intermediate Court, and later release with no date specified. Minghui reported in March 2020 that Li, then 62, had received a three-year sentence from the Nanming District Court and appealed.

July–December 2023 — second detention
Minghui reported that Li was arrested July 6, 2023 and held at Sanjiang Detention Center for more than four months, remaining detained as of its December 2023 report. No later case outcome was located.
Evidence limits
