The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong reports that Li was detained on August 21, 2025 by officers from the Wulong Police Station after writing Falun Gong informational materials. It further reports a September 8 bail release, an October 25 re-arrest, and a December 8, 2025 sentence of four years and six months, followed by transfer to Heilongjiang Women’s Prison. The sentencing court is not identified.
