Li Guifang is a Falun Gong practitioner from Chengde City, Hebei Province. Minghui reports that she was arrested in July 2023 and sentenced in March 2024 to four years in prison and a 10,000-yuan fine.
2023 arrest and prosecution
Minghui reports that Li was one of six Chengde practitioners whose cases were handled together. Five were arrested on July 18, 2023 by officers from the Shuangqiao District Domestic Security Division; a sixth was arrested the next day. Li was held at the Chengde City Detention Center. The report states that the Chengde City Procuratorate approved the arrests on August 16, 2023 and that the Shuangqiao District Procuratorate later prosecuted the cases.
Trial and sentence
The six appeared at the Shuangqiao District Court on December 25, 2023. Minghui reports that on March 7, 2024 Li was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan.
Status and evidence limits
Rights Defense Network Issue 131 lists “Li Guifang” among reported current prisoners as of August 31, 2026. No prison transfer, appeal outcome or release report was located. No verified Chinese-character form of Li Guifang’s name was found, so none is published here.
