Minghui reports that Li worked as a general manager at a local power company in Tianjin and that the family also operated a wedding-ceremony business. On May 15, 2019, officers associated with the Ninghe County Domestic Security Division detained Yu Bo and Li Lei and searched the family home. Li Guoqing was arrested later the same day.
