Li Jing / 李晶

Li Jing (李晶) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Changchun, Jilin Province. Falun Gong-affiliated reporting states that she was arrested in March 2018 and sentenced in April 2019 to ten years in prison.

2018 arrest and trial

Minghui reports that Li was arrested on March 14, 2018 outside her apartment by police from the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone. Officers searched her home and seized Falun Gong books and materials, a computer, and mobile phones reportedly used for outreach calls. She was taken to Changchun No. 4 Detention Center.

The arrest was approved on March 28, 2018 and an indictment was reported on August 16. Sources disagree on whether the court hearing occurred on November 7 or November 8, 2018; that date conflict remains unresolved.

2019 sentence

Minghui reports that Li received a ten-year verdict on April 2, 2019 and that her lawyer appealed on April 13. One secondary mirror gives April 12 instead of April 2; the April 2 date is used here because it appears in the core report and later roundup.

Status and evidence limits

Rights Defense Network Issue 131 lists 李晶 among reported current prisoners in its ten-year-sentence group as of August 31, 2026. The appeal outcome, serving prison and sentence-end date are not established. This record is distinct from Li Jing / 李静 of Shaanxi.
