2017 — prior detention
Minghui reported that Liang was arrested by the Jilin City Domestic Security Division and Xinan Police Station on October 20, 2017 and held for one day.
2019 — arrest-date discrepancy
A contemporaneous 2019 Minghui report dates the arrest to July 17, 2019 at Dahua Market and reports confiscation of about 10,000 yuan. Later Minghui reports date the arrest to March 17, 2019. The conflict remains unresolved.
2020 — sentence
Minghui reported in June and August 2020 that Liang had been sentenced and was being held at Jilin Province Women’s Prison; the August report gives an eight-year term. A September 2020 sentencing roundup also lists the eight-year sentence.

Identity safeguard and limits
A different male Falun Gong practitioner named Liang Chunhua was reported in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, in 2005; that person is not this Jilin case. Chinese characters for the Jilin woman’s name remain unverified and are intentionally omitted. The trial court, age, occupation, family details, and current health were not established.
