Li Xiaomei / 李孝梅

Li Xiaomei (李孝梅) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Shagou Town, Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. Monitoring sources report that she was sentenced to prison after a series of arrests beginning in 2021.

2021–2024 case

Minghui reports that Li was first arrested on January 19, 2021 after being reported for distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Mazhan Town, Yishui County. She was released on bail two days later. The outlet reports further police pressure in 2021 and arrests in August 2022.

Minghui reports that the Yi’nan County Court later sentenced Li to three years in prison — “or four years according to another report” — and fined her 30,000 yuan. A separate Minghui news brief and sentencing table give a four-year term. The outlet reports that she was later admitted to Shandong Province Women’s Prison.

Status and conflicting sentence records

Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists 李孝梅 among reported current prisoners in its three-year-sentence group. The sources therefore conflict on whether the sentence was three or four years. This profile preserves that contradiction rather than choosing one figure.

Evidence limits

Detailed case reporting comes from Falun Gong-affiliated sources and no public court judgment was located. Historical arrest and mistreatment reports remain source-attributed. The verified Chinese form is 李孝梅, not 李晓梅. No exact release date is inferred.
