Pang Zhihua (庞志华) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Yinan County, Shandong Province and a former contract teacher. A prisoners-of-conscience registry reports that he was arrested in October 2025 and sentenced in May 2026 to one year in prison.
2025–2026 case
The registry records that Pang was arrested by local police after sending a WeChat message containing the words “Falun Dafa is good.” It states that he was held at the Yinan County Detention Center, prosecuted, and sentenced in May 2026 to one year in prison. The criminal charge and trial court are not reported.
Earlier reported history
Minghui reported that a man named Pang Zhihua from the same Yinan County area was among Falun Gong practitioners arrested in May 2008 and later sent to forced labor. The older reporting and the registry differ on the length of that earlier forced-labor term, so the discrepancy remains unresolved.
Status and evidence limits
The registry record, updated June 19, 2026, lists Pang as in prison and gives October 2026 as the term endpoint. Because that date has not yet passed, no release is asserted. No official court record of the current case was located.
