Human Rights Without Frontiers, in a February 2024 China newsletter citing Minghui, reported that Qiu Denong, then 73, was sentenced to three and a half years by the Dongyuan County Court in Heyuan, Guangdong, and transferred from the Dongyuan County Detention Center to Guangdong Province Women’s Prison.
Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists 邱德浓 in the three-years-six-months sentence group, consistent with the reported sentence length.
