Qiu Xinnai (邱新乃) is a reported Falun Gong practitioner from Qidong County, Hengyang, Hunan.
According to Minghui, Qiu was arrested at his home on March 14, 2023 during a coordinated two-day sweep in Qidong County. The outlet reported that police seized about 80,000 yuan in cash, a computer, and a printer from his residence.
Minghui later reported that Qiu received a prison sentence of seven years and four months and a 20,000-yuan fine, and that he was transferred to Wangling Prison with four co-defendants from the same sweep. The dates of indictment, trial, and sentencing were not reported.
Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists 邱新乃 in its seven-years-four-months sentence group, providing an independent monitoring-lineage match for the Chinese name and sentence length.
Evidence limits
The substantive case reporting comes from Minghui, a Falun Gong-affiliated outlet; a second Minghui article is same-lineage corroboration rather than independent confirmation. No public court judgment, official procedural record, or state-media account was located. No release date is inferred.
