Liu Jinguo (刘金果)

Liu Jinguo (刘金果) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Linshu County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. Rights Defense Network identifies him as a man born in August 1976 and a former vice principal of Linshu Subdistrict No. 4 Primary School.

According to a Rights Defense Network case report, Liu had previously received a three-year sentence in 2016 and a one-year sentence in 2022 in cases related to his Falun Gong practice.

The same report states that Liu was arrested again in November 2023 and sentenced to four years in prison. It reports that he was transferred to Shandong Prison in July 2024.

Rights Defense Network alleges that Liu was subjected to severe mistreatment in prison, including being stripped and exposed to freezing conditions until he lost consciousness and required hospital treatment. Those treatment allegations remain source-attributed.

Issue 131 of Rights Defense Network’s monthly report, dated August 31, 2026, lists 刘金果 in the four-year-sentence group.

Status: listed as detained as of August 31, 2026. A November 2027 term end appears in the case report, but no release is asserted.
