Early-2000s case
Minghui accounts differ on whether Liu’s first prison sentence was three or four years and whether her release was in September 2004 or in 2005. The discrepancy remains unresolved.
2012–2021 — ten-year sentence
Minghui reports that Liu was arrested in Guiyang on April 12, 2012 with Zhao Mingli and Yuan Xueli, later sentenced to ten years, transferred to Guizhou Women’s Prison in March 2013, and released on January 12, 2021.

2023 — new arrest and sentence
Minghui and CHRD report Liu’s August 9, 2023 detention with Wang Zexuan. Minghui reports a sentence of three years and six months in late December 2023 and an appeal.

Rights Defense Network Issue 131 lists 刘军贸 in the three-year-six-month group.
Evidence limits
No official court record was located. A CHRD term-end field of February 8, 2027 is retained only as a database field, not as a confirmed future release. The 2024 Minghui digest item that appears to reverse Liu’s and Wang Zexuan’s genders is excluded as an apparent source error.
